A special note to visual artists: As you know, your files tend to be rather ungainly. Please be considerate when submitting to Swivel. If you can point us toward a web site where your work is posted, that should be your number one choice. You might also consider sending us a CD with your work, to P.O. Box 17958, Seattle, WA 98107. If neither of those options works, please limit yourself to sending ONE sample of your work that won't make our inbox explode.

Please understand that though we expect to be able to offer payment in the future, for the first few issues we can offer only our compliments and a copy of the magazine—not cash.

Size
A full page in Swivel is 6 inches wide by 9 inches high.

Resolution
Swivel is printed at 150 lpi. This means that your file needs to be scanned at a minimum of 300 ppi. If these Ls and Ps don't make sense to you, please drop us an email with questions!

At this point, we are only printing black & white.
